Privacy Policy

Blockchain View Pro is a Chrome extension that looks up publicly available Ethereum blockchain data (wallet balance, transaction count, and contract status) for any address you enter. This page explains what data the extension handles and how.

1. Data We Collect

Blockchain View Pro does not require an account, does not use analytics or advertising SDKs, and does not track your browsing activity. We do not collect your name, email, IP address, or any other personal identifier.

2. The Wallet Address You Enter

When you type an Ethereum address into the extension and run a lookup, that address is sent to public Ethereum RPC providers so we can retrieve the corresponding balance, transaction count, and contract status from the blockchain. Currently these providers are:

• ethereum.publicnode.com
• eth.drpc.org
• rpc.ankr.com

These providers only receive the wallet address you typed and return publicly available on-chain data — the same information anyone could look up on a block explorer like Etherscan. We do not attach your identity, browsing history, or any other information to these requests.

3. What We Don't Do

The extension never asks for or has access to your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet credentials. It cannot sign transactions, move funds, or connect to any wallet. Lookups are read-only. We do not sell, rent, or share data with advertisers, and we do not use cookies or third-party trackers.

4. Local Storage

Blockchain View Pro does not store lookup history or any other data on your device. Each time you open the extension, it starts fresh — nothing from previous sessions is retained.

5. Permissions

The extension requests network access limited to the RPC providers listed above, solely to fetch the blockchain data needed to answer your lookup. It requests no other browser permissions.

6. Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time to reflect changes to the extension or to comply with Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "Last updated" date above.
